On Monday and Tuesday we had my mother up to the house for a visit. She hadn't been here since before we moved in with furniture. On Monday night I took her to hear our Barbershop Harmony Chorus practice for our Open House. She seemed to enjoy listening to the music. On Tuesday, I took her for a ride on a golf cart around one of the courses at Treesdale so she could see the great views and lovely homes on the hillsides. She'd never been on a golf course or golf cart before! She also got to see some golfers hit drives on a couple of the holes. Several times during the day she commented on enjoying the trees turn colors during the Fall.We also showed her where Dee works. She enjoyed sitting out on our deck in the dark watching the stars, lights on the houses and listening to the night sounds. It was a good visit. On the way home from Monongahela, Dee and I stopped at the Commissary and picked up some groceries.
